Captain Janet Goins’ ‘Abelol Schmidts’ made the biggest splash of the season, handing Heather Blue their first loss of the season and punching their ticket to the SDFHL Fall League 2024 Final with an effervescent 5-3 win. Grey and Brown went down, while Lime and Green stayed alive, as the remaining playoff picture is a by the numbers 1-2-3-4 affair.

Atomic Blue and White are the first two teams to tap out of the playoff party, joining the two regular season foam-o factions on the curb, and leaving six teams striving for the ultimate door prize as the festivities flow into a third week…

All four top seeds popped winning bottles in the first week of playoff play, leaving the lower seeds corked and confined to the Losers’ Bracket. The party rages on this Sunday, but it will be the last round for two lightweight libators…
