Captain Nick Meglich managed to keep a BIG secret from everyone, including his own teammates (!)…there would be no Alex Giummo in the lineup for Sand’s final swing at defeating rival Black. The result of this twist was not the convincing win for Black that you might expect, but rather a tooth and nail nailbiter the dripped into OT. Kerri Sevenbergen had another ‘twist’ in store in extra time, tucking home her first goal of the season to close the final chapter in Black’s season-long storybook Cup pursuit…
